Not quite sure what to put here... well I live in Canada in the prairies and we get lots of snow as you can see. I'm all done with school -took Vet Tech- and I think I found something to do with my life that I really love -besides drawing reading and playing video games that is- Wildlife Rehabilitation!
I have a few fish and a neighbours cat that adopted us, I also had a pigeon I rescued before I knew all the rehab'ers I know now. She lived for an extra 1 year and 4 months dodging dogs, cats, and a merlin until she was finally caught. I love you Pidgy, I will miss you forever... even after you grew up and wanted to tear my fingers off with your little pointy beak. High five! *wing slap* *angry coo*

Bought a new camera, it is so amazing; Pentax Optio wg-2 and it is everything-proof so no more worrying about floors, or water, or... wolf teeth! HA.
Above average snowfall this year so plenty of material to make more zelda snowmen. Though I don't know what I'll do to top that Dead Hand... Imprisoned?
Still need to make some christmas cards and one more feather earring. Aaaaaahh I should photograph those with my new camera! :D The possibilities are endless.

Sweet relief

Finally finished the wildlife rehab season, was done a couple weeks ago actually - that went on for a month longer then last year with about 300+ animals going through this year... feeding baby birds every half hour, swimming 80 ducks every five hours plus a hundred other chores in between and most of the time doing it all yourself.. yeah, at times I was a little :crazy: especially with that Arctic wolf pup http://sta.sh/0112bgmmqpdi that we were babysitting running around trying to chew everything in sight! :o
Oh yeah and my friggen camera broke. I can still take video but any picture I take has bright horizontal lines across the whol thin

As I'm writing this I really should be getting other things done.
Started work again at my local wildlife rehab and it's just constant feeding of babies. I get there at 8:30 and sometimes I don't get home 'till 8 at night and sometimes 6 days/week! I barely have time to eat :(. I also bought a car yesterday :dummy:
After years and years of never needing one -the last time I drove was to pass drivers ed. in grade 11- I now have to realearn how to do that on top of everything else.
uuuuuuughhhhh
Oh and my pigeons finally had their babies, took them only 4 weeks until they were flight capable. I havn't seen one baby for a while... may be dea
